WE ARE ACTIVELY SEEKING NEW MEMBERS FOR THE 2013 SEASON

Being a member of Sherwood is more than just playing cricket. We like to think that you will develop life long friendships and also enjoy the social side of our club. At Sherwood, we like to promote a friendly family environment where you and your family members can come and relax and enjoy the great game of cricket.

Our clubhouse boasts a fully licensed bar and our changing facilites are more than amble compared to most cricket clubs. Throughout the season we hold numerous social events from Quiz Nights, BBQ's, Discos and other themed events.

From a cricketing perspective we have a tradition of starting and finishing the season with a friendly match between the Youth and Senior sections of the club and often during the summer months have BBQ's after matches. All culminating in the end of season parties including the Family Fun Day and Presentation Nights.

All of our members are expected to hold up the traditions of the game of cricket including signing up each year to the Club Rules and Player codes of conduct.

The club is nearing it's 50th anniversary and today we still have original founder members that have remained with Sherwood throughout the years.

We welcome players of all abilities and backgrounds irrespective of gender, age, ability and ethnic background.
